Corpses and Cats
Been spending most of today working on new sprites. The funny thing here is that it's an instance of the game kind of expanding itself organically. I originally added the painting of a cat as a kind of joke.
However, some of my friends really latched onto it, with one question soon hanging over my head like a very adorable version of the Sword of Damocles:
"Where cat?"
So I had a choice: Implement the cat, or say that it's dead. And let's be real here: A dead husband is enough. So, I started working on a cat sprite.
I gave it a rudimentary walk cycle, brought it into Unity and slapped a very primitive AI on it. So yeah, look forward to a small, soft, emotionally detached uncaring companion on your journey through necromancy.
We also now have a sprite for our dearest dead husband (who is still in need of a name):

Now you know what to work towards.
NecroMansion
Cast spells, brew potions, revive your dead husband, pet the cat.
